In this episode of A Touch of Class, Will Griffith welcomes back Clodagh Coughlan, Aoife Ní Thuama, and Karen O’Neill from Douglas Golf Club, who have just achieved something truly remarkable - retaining the 2025 Women’s Senior Cup All‑Ireland Title.

Winning an All‑Ireland is incredibly difficult. Retaining it is something only the very best teams ever manage. The Douglas ladies talk Will through a campaign defined by resilience, belief, and sheer quality, starting with a gritty win in Macroom to secure the Munster South title in torrential rain.

From there, the journey moved to Douglas Golf Club for the All‑Ireland Finals - a rare and emotional opportunity to compete for a national title on home soil. The ladies recount the atmosphere, the pressure, and the pride as they battled past strong opposition from Knock, Co. Sligo, and finally Lahinch in a final played in seriously strong winds.

Winning at home, in front of family, friends, and a packed Douglas crowd, is something none of them will ever forget - and neither will Will, who was there to witness it.
